Available now is a stunning 9.5′ Captain’s Gig rowboat tender. This is an ideal rowboat for use as a yacht tender, with lifting eyes and sidemount davits both built in and ready to mount to your mother ship! This dinghy features a striking red gelcoat stripe and sapele wood sheer, with added rope trim for a nautical flair that also protects your woodwork from docking lines.
The Captain’s Gig can seat three people, and is our most recommended dinghy for use with motor-trawler yachts, due to its more stable feel when loading and unloading than a typical hard dinghy. This boat comes equipped with a pair of our 7′ flat blade wood oars. There is also a built in wood motorboard where you can attach a 2hp outboard motor (not included). Note that this is a rowboat-only, it cannot be converted to sail.
