The first-ever Pacific Northwest Small Boat Festival is almost here! Gig Harbor Boat Works is honored to be a sponsor of this exciting new event organized by the Puget Sound Pocket Yachters.

The Small Boat Festival is taking over the entire guest dock at Port Ludlow, as well as the grassy lawn by the pavilion. Over 100 small boat owners are bringing their boats, from pocket cruisers like the 12′ Scamp to daysailers, rowboats, canoes, and kayaks. This is an ideal opportunity for small boat fans to gather, show & tell their cool small craft, and get out on the water for some summertime merriment.

This is also an opportunity for YOU to come and see our boats in person… for free! 🎉

The festival is open to the public on Saturday, July 27th from 10am – 6pm

We’ll have several of our boats on display, both on the water and on land! Out at the dock you’ll see our 17′ Salish Voyager and 15′ Lobster Boat (the original version). On land, you’ll see our 12′ Scamp, 14′ Whitehall, and 12′ Point Defiance.

You can also check out our 9.5′ Captain’s Gig equipped with some of our most popular accessories, like the forward rowing system, EP Carry electric motor, and inflatable sponsons!

It’s also a great opportunity to come and meet our crew in person, and connect with other small craft sailors who may be interested in group sails and messabouts. This is a great community of like-minded people that is very welcoming of newcomers, and happy to share knowledge about small craft cruising.

Make it a GHBoats reunion!

If you own one of our boats, we’d love to see you there for a reunion of sorts! If you want to bring your own boat, make sure to register in advance here. If you register you can also participate in the overnight part of the festival, which includes moorage at the guest dock Friday and Saturday nights (if there’s dock space left), and a dinner in the pavilion Saturday night.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to meet others with a shared love for small boats, and be part of something special. We’ll see you there! 🌟
