Today we said goodbye to our dog, Daisy, who was a part of our family for fourteen years. She joined us on adventures on and off the water, greeted customers at the shop, and even “helped” us pull dinghies around on their dollies back when she was young and spry. She always loved visitors, and spent many afternoons playing with our customers’ dogs while we two-legged types rambled on about boats.
These are a few photos of her boating adventures over the years.
The shop will feel a little empty to us for a while. Our constant companion, there never was a dog more loving or more loyal. We will miss her greatly.
Sorry to hear of your loss. My oldest dog is nearly fourteen and I know she will not be with us much longer. May your grief be replaced with the happy memories all good dogs leave us.
Daisy was a sweet dog. She was a friendly greeter at the shop and I we enjoyed her company when visiting. Sorry for you loss.
We remember Daisy from when we picked up the new Point Defiance last May. She was in a number of photos we took and seemed a regular member of the family – right there with everyone around! Sorry to hear of her passing.
So sorry for your loss. Understand that Daisy has been a wonderful part of your family. She is with you always. Our thoughts and best wishes are with all of you.
Saying goodbye to a cherished companion is so difficult. In time your pain will be replaced by all of those wonderful memories of Daisy’s unconditional love.
With sympathy,
Michelle D. Falcon, DVM
