Description
This 17′ Salish Voyager sailboat is in assembly and will be available soon!
Named after the Salish Sea it was designed to explore, the Salish Voyager was born from a simple request we kept hearing: an expedition-worthy boat with sliding rowing seats and serious capability under sail. We started with the fast, forgiving Jersey Skiff hull and built a new interior around a lug rig — the same setup we use on the Melonseed, prized for easy assembly and forgiving sail characteristics. The lug rig’s forward mast placement opens up the cockpit, creating a long footwell for a standard single sliding seat, with a tandem slider available for those who want to row double. Enclosed storage compartments add stability, seaworthiness, and ample dry storage, while a self-bailing floor lets you keep your focus on sailing in rough conditions rather than bailing. Whether you’re rowing long open-water crossings or sailing with confidence in a stiff breeze, the Salish Voyager is our answer to the call for a boat that truly does everything well.
This Salish Voyager in classic white hull, dune beige deck and interior, jade mist green strake, and has an easy-care vinyl rub rail. It has been upgraded with a bow hatch, floor hatch and 2-per-side storage hatches to keep your belongings dry, and a stainless steel keel strip to protect the keel during beaching.
